Question about 2000 Pontiac Sunfire
The break light on the trunk works, but not the 2 primary break lights. Have checked the fuses and replaced the bulbs, still no luck. All the other lights work fine.
You need to check the brake light switch, which is located under the dash, just above the brake pedal rod.. when you step on the brake pedal there is a spring loaded switch just above it that is allowed to expand, thus making an electrical connection and energizing the brake lights.
