Question about 1993 Toyota 4Runner
I have the rear antilock light on yet my brakes work fine. and my dashboard guage lights just cut off outta nowhere, checks fuses and none are blown...
Without a proper scan tool test for ABS DTC's, I can only suggest a few things...Look at the rear backing plates and check to see if the wires going to the ABS sensors are intact. If the wires are cut or frayed, you will get a ABS light on. Low fluid will throw this light on too. Also, see if there is any rear end lube innside the rear drums, if so, the sensors are not reading the ABS counter gear(s).
As to the dash lights, you may need to replace your turn signal/headlamp switch assby.
