Our Odyssey automatic doors do not work. The passenger side door (upon pressing button in car and key pad), will open about 1/4# and stop. When I press again, it closes. The driver side opens partially and sounds like metal on metal. More concerning, we have just over 50,000 miles and it is out of warranty. Anyone have similar concerns and what should I expect to fix this???

Some vehicle locking systems allow a single button press to unlock the driver's side door and require a second button press to unlock the passenger side door. Likewise, use of the key to unlock the driver's side door does not automatically unlock the passenger side.
Automatic sliding doors use optical or motion detection sensors to activate their motorized opening and closing functions. These sensors are mounted over the automatic door. The sensors use either infrared or microwave technology to observe motion.------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Car Diagnostic Tools
The relay is working fine if the automatic locking system is working. The module for the automatic door locks has a circuit to lock the doors upon shifting the vehicle to drive. The circuitry has a relay built into it that unlocks the doors when parked so that module is not fuctioning properly for the unlocking mode
You should replace power door lock at front passenger side, you can use any 'universal' power door lock. its an unit with a small motor inside that have a mechanism to up and down according electricity from the actuator (master door lock at driver side)
Hope this help :-)
If remote locks and unlocks driver door but does not unlock passenger doors, then follow the advice above: Get in the car using the key to unlock the doors. From the passenger
side lock and unlock your doors using the button on the passenger
door. Get out and the remote should now unlock all the doors with 2
presses. Worked perfectly for me after several other suggestions (and dealer) failed.
I read about this issue while I was looking for a fix to mine. Try the following:
Remove fuse #13 for 30 seconds or more from the passenger side fusebox. This will reset the door and the clock.
1.) Disable the power door switch on the left dashboard. 2.) Remove the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area. 3.) Manually open and close both sliding doors. 4.) Restore the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area. 5.) Enable the power door switch on the left dashboard. 6.) Try opening the sliding doors.
