Question about 2006 Honda Odyssey

2006 Automatic Doors malfunction

Our Odyssey automatic doors do not work. The passenger side door (upon pressing button in car and key pad), will open about 1/4# and stop. When I press again, it closes. The driver side opens partially and sounds like metal on metal. More concerning, we have just over 50,000 miles and it is out of warranty. Anyone have similar concerns and what should I expect to fix this???

The automatic doors on my 2002 Honda Odyssey just stopped working. My husband had to close them manually. Both doors.

have the same problem, with both doors. Recently the drivers side door completely came out of track and gouged up the exterior of the side panel...GREAT!! Honda won't warranty it even though the doors haven't worked right for a while...I can only imagine the cost

Opening the drivers door doesnt automatically open the passangers door

Some vehicle locking systems allow a single button press to unlock the driver's side door and require a second button press to unlock the passenger side door. Likewise, use of the key to unlock the driver's side door does not automatically unlock the passenger side.

Passenger sliding door will not work automatic

Automatic sliding doors use optical or motion detection sensors to activate their motorized opening and closing functions. These sensors are mounted over the automatic door. Automatic passenger door does not open when you press button on key

If the other doors work then it is likely the power lock actuator is defective. You must remove the door panel and replace the actuator.

Honda Odyssey doors

I read about this issue while I was looking for a fix to mine. Try the following:

Remove fuse #13 for 30 seconds or more from the passenger side fusebox. This will reset the door and the clock.

1.) Disable the power door switch on the left dashboard.
2.) Remove the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.
3.) Manually open and close both sliding doors.
4.) Restore the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.
5.) Enable the power door switch on the left dashboard.
6.) Try opening the sliding doors.
