My saturn is having some problems with starting and stalling out when i'm trying to go anywhere, if i turn the ac or vent to bogs it down to to where it doesn't want to move at all, i can barley make it up a hill. I have had my car checked out and have a code of p1599. Nobody can figure out what is wrong with my car. I have heard to things, fuel injector and timing chian. Help anyone!!!
You need to clean out the throttle body real good first. Then turn the key to the on position for 60 sec then start. Sometimes the computer get adjusted to the dirty body so when you change the battery it resets to the normal idle setting. Your computer needs to relearn but do this after you clean. Them drive it around at different speeds. If that doesnt work check on a computer that your MAP sensor is reading 14.5 psi. If its not at 14.5 psi it needs replaced. Its inside the throttle body.

Have you catalytic Converter checked. There was a recall on these cars back in 2003 but I have this car and have 105,000 miles on it and it is in the shop right now getting its 3rd cat con put in. there was a major decrease in power as well as gas milage. Maybe this will help you. If you are under 80,000 miles it is under warranty.
Well I would go with the fuel injector diagnosis, if the issue isn't that then they gave you a free injector. But what about the MAF??
My 2003 saturn was running fine. while going down the road it stoped. it turns over but will not start. it's full of gas. help
Same issue starts fine then dies and won't restart. Thanks for the posting will try fuel filter and sensor.

Yes i have had 4 different people look at this car. Saturn just said it was a fuel injector. Fuel pressure was good.
Not sure on the MAF.
car was going down the road it went dead acts like it's out of gas but has a full tank
Same issue, will try the fuel filter and sensor. Hope not the fuel pump it's over $300 for this car.
Code P1599 means the engine is near to stalling or has stalled, which is the issue, you will need to check the fuel pressure reading, you may have a clogged filter, another issue is a part called a Mass Air Flow sensor, it will also cause this problem and most times does not set a code. When you say no one can figure it out, do you mean the Saturn dealer??
