2005 ford f-250 6.0 how compressor remplace

My assumption is this is the A/C compressor, First remove the freon for the system, you will need a special tool to disconnect the A/C lines, The parts you will need are new Compressor/w clutch and dryer, freon and refrg oil o-rings for a/c lines new restrictor for high pressure line. remove comp and dryer replace with new and proper amount of oil in compressor, replace high pressure restrictor and o-rings on lines once the system is completely together you will need a A/C vac pump to create a vacuum in the system be for the refrig is added to proper pressure for vehicle Compressor

Anybody know why I shouldn't run a torque converter from a 1994 2.2L 4L60E in a 1998 2.2L 4L60E?

the overdrive clutches are burnt out. Has nothing to do with torque converter. the cw just revs higher before ingauging

2003 Honda CR-V when the A/c compressor kicks on the engine drops 300 rpm, like it's going to stall. It's making a clunk noise when kicking on and I changed the battery thinking it was weak.

sounds like it's the iacv or idle air control valve not working due to dirt in the orifice or the iacv is burnt out and cannot turn correctly, or the wiring to it is faulty.

Good luck on the repair.

If the A/C compressor makes a clunk noise when kicking on, that could indicate a worn out compressor.

You're right, 300 rpm is way too low. It should be closer to 600 or 700 or 800 rpm and remain smooth when the a/c compressor kicks on.

A/C quit blowing cold air after a loud squeeling noise stopped!

Look way down on the engine front area passenger side for the compressor.
Is the belt gone?
Check the belt tensioner pulley....can you turn it?....is it seized?
If it is OK then try and turn the compressor.......and the idler part of the compressor.
If the compressor is seized.....why?
Usually lack of oil in the system,or an overcharged system.

Once you have removed the 134a gas from the A/C system before removing the compressor and before installing the new compressor make sure you add the correct amount and type of oil into the system to prevent another seized compressor after you have flushed the system to remove contaminates such as old compressor grindings......if the compressor was seized.
You will also need a new receiver/dryer once you open the system to the moisture in the air.
Do not expose the new receiver/dryer to air....install last.
Vacuum the system well before refilling with the correct amount of 134a.
At 70 to 80 degrees outside temp........a vent temp at medium fan speed of 48 to 45 degrees should be a full charge .......use this reading if you do not have a electronic scale and/or A/C machine.
DO NOT OVERFILL THE SYSTEM.
