Question about Ford Taurus
I have a couple things for you to check:
Is your battery dead? This is easy to check. Does your car start? If it does, move on to the next suggestion. Otherwise, this could be your problem. If all you hear is clicking and the engine does not start, your battery is probably toast.
Do you hear a clicking noise when you press the window Up/Down button? If so, I would assume you are getting power to the window controls. This may be a problem with your window Up/Down switch.
Both of these repairs require socket wrenches and other tools. If you have these, great. If not, you may want to research local mechanics to do these repairs.
