Question about 1994 Nissan 300ZX
We've already replaced the VSS, and still nothing although now it shifts better and overdrive is working.
Have the repair manual in .pdf and have gone through it. So I have the wiring diagram, problem is it doesn't tell me how to access the wiring that connects to the speedometer.
Any thoughts would be helpful since I really don't want to pay an electrical mechanic 80 plus dollars and hour to guess at what's wrong.
I have the same problem with my 300zx currently. You need to replace the gauge cluster. The speedo itself in the cluster is really expensive and hard to replace. Look for one on eBay. Make sure to get the correct year though!
