Right where the fuel filter is there is a primer you break the breather nut close back then prime(pump)break you will get air and deisel frouthy like bubble do this till deisel (fuel)comes clear,.,or start engine and break #1 injector line you wil see frouth lock back proceed to do remaining 3 injectors till frouth is out you will find engine dying every time you break injector,so lock off and continue with rest till it idle good

Hi, Have a 93 2.5 liter deisal Pajero. Pulling out of garage, went three feet and stopped. Motor turns over, but will not start. Using pump on filter can get fuel at the return line

Check and verify the pickup low pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank is working, it will run anytime the key is in the crank position or the engine is running, should make a low pitched whirring noise, best heard with the fuel fill cap removed and ear down to the fill tube..

Sounds like fuel pump seals. Remove your fuel filter and have a look see if its black.

1995 freightliner. Will crank but won't start. How do I fix it?

Kevin:
First, check your fuel to make sure there's no water in it. Next, find the fuel system bleed port located near the fuel injector. loosen the bleed port bolt and have someone crank the engine. When fuel flows out of the bleed port in a steady stream (no bubbles) close the bleed port and start the engine. If it will not start, loosen one of the injectors and crank the engine to see if the fuel injector has fuel and if it is pumping fuel. You may have to loosen each of the injectors one at a time to get fuel to all of the injectors.

My pajero 2.8 turbo rattles when cold OK when hot

replace the injector tips as they are squirting and not atomising. They will also be dribbling and that is allowing fuel in before the injection time

How do i bleed the fuel injectors?

You don't ! Injectors do not require bleeding. Fuel under pressure surrounds the inlet of the injectors, and when the pintle is raised by an electrical pulse, fuel sprays out the injectors outlet port at the bottom. No bleeding is possible nor required.
If the injectors aren't working, the electrical circuit has a malfunction, or the fuel pressure may be too low.

How to bleed a 89 pajero that has run out of diesal

You have to crack the injectors, or loosen the fuel line going into each injectors. Then have someone help you by turning the motor over, letting fuel and air bleed out around the fitting that you loosen at the injectors. You will see air & fuel start spraying out around the point of breaking the lines. When you see a good flow of fuel. Tighten everyting back up tight. It should run ruff for a few seconds. Then you should be back to normal.
