I have a 2003 Tahoe which I have own from new. The driver side window (power window) wont go back up again. This will be the third time at $400 a time to fix. No other window has this problem. This window doesn't get use very much as I like my Air Conditioning

Admit it...
DRIVER'S DOOR switch takes the most
abuse on the planet.

(alcohol, true love, regular chaos or old age:
snow + rain + dirt + coffee) = dirty abused switch))

A healthy BATTER would probably feel better after
a DEEP CYCLE discharge/charge...

That BATTERY WAS ALREADY done.

Make sure the NEW BATTERY terminals are
clean & tight...

WD40 the door switch (doubtless the driver door
that was open all night... (with power off)).

If cycling the switch does not bring it back to life
Get a new switch... while they are still plentiful.

It's a circuit breaker. The voltage to the circuit breaker is hot all the time, so check for voltage at the circuit breaker. Use a test lite or something.

See the orange wire, check the wiring harness on hinge side of driver door, the wire harness will have a protective rubber boot covering of some kind, pull the boot back far enough to check the orange wire for voltage. If it has voltage, the problem may be inside the door?

Wire in door jamb likely broken.

Its quite possible, that there may be a break in the window curcuit at hinge were wires go into door. it may be broke or just grounding out. If not, just check wire from switch to the power window. Good-Day! Thats what blows the fuse

it sounds like a broken wire in the passenger door.

Usually the has to be replaced and make sure to clear all trouble codes

If the drivers side does absolutely nothing, there is a chance that power plug that goes into the door has come apart. There is a rubber boot that goes from the cab to the door, that is where the wires run. The power plug is usually right before the boot or right after.

I have the exact same problem. Fuses look good, I have no idea what the problem is?

check releys and wires in door jam 1 might be broken failing that u need a new switch
