I have the ame exact problem I never had it with any other car, I think it must have something to do with the poor quality of the windshield that Nissan uses.

temporary solution is to goto walmart automotive section and look for rainX anti fog wipes. and if you change you control knob to a different zone do you get heat and does it go from vent to floor
Could be a blend door problem. You would need fresh air from the outside to keep the windows from fogging up. If the blend door that controls outside air gets stuck or fails to open, you may not get fresh air. The ac compressor would also need to run every few minutes to dry the air hitting the windshield.
Check your coolant level, if its low it may indicate a heater core leak into the vehicle interior. It will severely fog up the windshield and seem like an oily deposit on the glass. If good just keep the heater on defrost to the windshield or blend to defrost and heater.
Hello razzamatazz2: My name is Roger and I will help with your problem. You are smelling a sweet smell and the windows fog over. The fog is slick and hard to wipe off and smears easily. You have a heater core leak. The only way to fix the problem is to replace the heater core. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
your heater core has probably sprung a leak.does the fog smell kinda sweet?....check the floor in the front where the floor mats are for moisture or even puddles of antifreeze.(the replacement of a heater core can be very expensive as the entire dash usually needs to be removed to access the heater core)also look under the engine near the firewall for antifreeze drips.
