Question about 2003 Dodge Intrepid
The engine light on my dodge interpid just went on. i purchased it second hand and hope i didn't purchase problems to go with it. Also the air con is blowing warm air. it does work just that when i turn it on it is not cool just warm air coming from the air con. please help so that i know what i need to do to fix all problems
My 2003 Intrepid A/C was blowing warm air and I purchased a can of 134A at Walmart and filled it was a bite cooler so I bought another can and that did it. Has worked for a full summer with chilling results. Make sure you follow the directions. You must hace your car running and the A/C cranked on high. Make sure you dont over fill. You can get a gauge to ensure over filling doesnt occur. A/C fill point is on the front right side. There will be what looks like to points one is to small. I hope this helps...

The engine light can come on for a myriad of reasons. Buy, borrow or have an auto parts store attach the OBD II diagnostic unit under the driver's side dash to get the code for the problem. The unit costs about $80 and is worth it. With the code you can search the internet to see what others have done to address the problem.
AirCon not working? If the compressor is coming on, it is most likely low on refrigerant. You can get cans of 134a at any auto store and fixtures to add it. The best fixtures are ones that come with a pressure sensor that gives notice as to the proper charge. If it does not work at all, you may need two cans of the 134a.
