Hi,
Yes, you are a very intelligent dude, that manifold that you re looking at, is the problem and the solution, this is one of the few problems where the problem is the solution.

Sol: remove the ****** out the way I bet you finish before finishing reading this.

Don't forget the new plenium original gasket from dealer, grease it with anti-sieze qrease, so on the next sparkplug change can be re-used.

Be careful with the electric wire that feed each fuel injectors.

Good hunting dude!!!!

sorry, but the manifold (intake) has to come OUT !!!!!!!!!

have a shop do the back plugs.they will raise it on the lift and get them changed out from underneath in like 15 mins. maybe for like $60. better if u go to a shop u frequent. why get into more problems by removing the manifold. good luck save $$$.

Best bet for us is to ask our local shop for help with just replacing the rear plugs. They will raise it on the lift and in about 15 mins.change them out.I live in L.A. and pay $40- $60. for this.We all need to look for an easy way out & a cheap one. unless u have ramps and don't mind being on your back for a while. ur call .lol.Good luck folks.Hope this is helpful advice. :)

I know it's a pain to change the plugs, there is no easy way to do this, the fat rate time in a shop is around 3 hours or $300 to change the plugs, Ah front wheel drive, it makes allot of money for repair shops. nothing is easy on them..

Best way to change the rear 3 spark plugs on a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD

If you can not see the 3 spark plugs from on top with your own eyes that you might have to use ramps underneath the front tires and go underneath the car to see if you can get to them this way. In some vehicles like my daewoo car has a plastic cover that I had to first take off so you can retrace the spark wires from the coil to the spark plugs so use a flashlight to see. If you are replacing to make sure if your vehicle has the right spark plugs and are gapped to your cars specs before replacing them.

Where is the temperature sensor on a 3.3 L 2003 dodge caravan found

I understand the coolant temperature sensor on a 2003 caravan is located just under the coil.
There are two sensors located in that position, it's the one toward the passenger side of the car.
I'm changing mine in the morning so I will know for sure and if it's not there I will return and correct this post.

Replacing spark plugs (2003 caravan); can be done from the top, reach around the engine (not over) from the transmission side to get to the rear spark plugs, I have done this twice.

How do I change the rear 3 spark plugs on a '94 Grand Caravan?

Yes, these are tough to get at from the top. Put the front on jack stands or ramps, and you can reach them a little easier from the bottom. You just need to reach up where the exhaust pipe comes down, and you can even see what you're doing this way.

Spark plug wires

Because of the air plenum that site on top of the engine (6 cylinder) changing the spark plug wires and spark plugs is very difficult on these models. Sadly, the easiest way is to remove the air plenum on top and even the winshield wiper cowling section due to the location of the wires and plugs. If you aren't a mechanic, or have the tools, you may want to forego this task. I believe the wires and spark plugs should be changed about once every 70-80,000 miles on these models.
