Question about 1989 Peugeot 405
My immobiliser has red and green lights, won't switch off is that the lift pump or is a there a quick fix solution?
Yes the control pad and the engine management are connected via a unit called the BSI this very expensive to replace around the $1500 AU price so you don't want to replace it if you dont have to the 406 had problems with immobilisers ecu which is able to be unpluged, most of the time this will solve the problem.
if need be tow the car to the dealer and ask them to unplug the imobiliser
