Blower The blower motor on my 2002 Sportage only works on high. It does not appear to be the the switch I checked it. Is there a relay to control the motor speed or is it the motor itself.

Heater A/C blower runs all the time

One of cpl things most likely the blower control switch stuck in high or the blower motor shorted in high last thing a short in the wire. Would suspect the actual blower motor 1st.

1992 chevy C1500: Heat works on low speed, no medium, and high only works intermittantly.

On any other vehicle it sounds like the blower fan switch.
The fan switch provides power or ground to the resistor and there would be a high speed blower relay to bypass the resistor.
But in your case the fan switch is part of the controller.
I don't have a diagram for a 92 but the 94 model shows relays for low medium and high speeds. Each relay gets power from a fuseable link. The high relay gets power thru the low relay if the low relay is not engaged.
If you have the model with 3 relays you may need to check them.

My heater blower will not work on my 2002 Grand Am. I have checked the two fuses on each side panel and put a meter and even a new blower motor and no reading or power to the new motor.

Power for the blower starts at the fuse, goes thru the HVAC control panel, then the resistor block, then thru the high speed blower relay, then to the motor.
You should have voltage at the resistor and at the relay.

940olds 98 temprature controls all appear to function but there is no ac and the fan dont work. is it a relay? if so which one?

It sounds to me like you need to diagnose your blower motor circuits. If the blower does not work on any speed including HIGH, then the problem is most likely the blower motor itself or a burned connector at either the blower motor or the blower relay.

The first thing to check would be to see if there is battery power and ground present at the blower motor electrical connector. If there is power and ground, replace the blower motor.

If there is now power at the blower motor connector, then you should check for power at the relay. There is a string of five relays mounted to your radiator support at the right front. The blower relay is the one in the center of this string. (the third one - no matter which direction you are counting. It is a 5-pin relay. If the ignition is in the ON position and the blower control switch is in any position other than OFF, there should be voltage on 3 of the pins. Of the other 2 pins, one is battery ground and the other goes to the blower motor connector.

NOTE: the PURPLE wire at the blower connector is power and the BLACK wire is ground.

I have no power to my blower motor on my 2005 kia sportage and the fuse is not blown . i tryed my blower motor directly to my battery and the blower works finecan you help me please

You have a blower motor relay or a blower motor resister that could be bad.The relay is part # 1R2122 $20.79 at rockauto.com. You could jump the relay to see if that's your problem. The Resister is # RU474 $42.89. I would start with the relay. Your switch could also be bad. A simple 12V circuit tester will tell you if you are getting power to the relay terminals.

2005 Trailblazer EXT. Blower speed control not working...

Problem with blower motor is the blower motor resistor. They are usually located next to the blower motor, a couple of screws and a couple of plugs and your done. Autozone sells them for around $30 each. Wipers you may want to check for relays under the hood in the fuse block. There may be 2 relays 1 for low and 1 for high. I have switched relays from other working accesories and got wipers to work. Sometimes bad connection.

Heater Control Switch Only Works on High

It appears there is a resistor block there, either at blower connection area, or at firewall area on passenger side under cowl somewhere. It is quite common for blower to only work on high when resistor goes. Look for block, or base, 1-1/2" x 3" approx. with electrical connector to it.
