LOW PRESSURE CHARGE PORT SHOULD BE LOCATED NEAR THE ACCUMULATOR.LOOK FOR REFRIGERANT LINE WITH A BLUE NEAR FIREWALL GOING TO EVAPORATOR IN THE FIREWALL THATS WHERE YOU CHARGE AC SYSTEM AT.
You put the 134a or freon into the low pressure side of your A/C system. Make sure you do this while the engine is running otherwise it will not work. There will be two different fittings that look like they will work on or around your freon canister. make sure you get the low pressure. Many times the high pressure is right on the canister itself do not use that one. If you are lucky the original caps will still be on the A/C system if they are this will make things even easier for you. The caps will be red and blue. The blue is the low pressure line use that one. The red is the high pressure line. As I said leave that one be. You will be able to find all of this on the passenger side of the car. The 134a canister is silver in color and it will have two lines running off of it. I hope this helps you out.
Along the condensor lines, you will find 2 ports that should have screwed on black caps, you will then remove the cap. Dependant on the year, you may need to upgrade the system R-12, vs R-134a; and recharge kits are available at various locations depending where you live. Also, the AC system is charged based on pounds, so be extra careful when attempting a new charge. Some vehicles only require 2 lbs.
