When you say "noisy", is it a metallic grinding noise? Or, did someone overcharge the system. If the compressor IS internally noisy, replacing it is only half of the job. Anytime that comperssors fail, metallic particles get in the system, from the grinding of the compressor vanes or bearings...and need to be removed. Most of the time, they are trapped in a device called the "receiver-dryer", located next to the condenser in the front of the car. So, replace the compressor, replace the receiver-dryer, and evacuate the system. Hold a vacuum for 30 minutes, and then recharge. Not replacing the receiver dryer will damage the new compressor.

Where under the hood of 1995 camry coupe is the air conditioner located?

Air condition compressor is on the engine just below the alternator, depending on model camry you asking about. You need to get workshop manuel for your model. Depending on what exactly are you looking for, there are various parts to the air condition system that are under the hood, as well as inside the vehicle.

What is the high and low pressure on 1997 toyota

The high and low pressure is refer the hose BEFORE (low) and AFTER (high) the A/C air compressor.

Low side can range from 0 (dead compressor) to 120+ (overcharged system)

High side can range from 0=dead to 170++ overcharged or damaged compressor.

DO not attempt to charge the system unless you has the correct manifold A/C unit and hoses to do the job.

How much does it cost to fix a 2002 V6 Toyota Camry when air conditioning not cold? Freon leak?

Cost depends on the problem. Does it still cool, just not as cold as it used to? You can recharge the system youself if the compressor still turns on. You can purchase refridgerant at any auto parts stores. Here is a video of how the recharge process works:

Air conditiner blowing hot air

Check out first the drive belt if it is loose, then the electrical connection if it is loose or corroded. If that does not solve it, check the clutch assembly if it is working. Worse case could be a problem with the A/C motor.

Air conditioning problem

in most instances when you open an a/c system you must also make sure that it's not only charged properly, but you also have to replace the dryer. moisture in an a/c system is the enemy and when you open the system. the moisture get's in there and plugs the dryer causing a blockage. hence why it only works for a few minutes.
