Window regulator? Has anyone ever changed or replaced a power window regulator ? Well let me know

Yes. Not hard at all. Remove door panel. You can look up in the door and see the bolts for the regulator. Make sure to tape the window up or it will fall when you remove the regulator. Also make sure to loosen the clamp that hold the regulator to the glass. It took about 25 minutes to do and that was also figuring out how to do it.

Drivers side window regulator needs replacing, power window siezed in icy weather (didn't realize it), something snapped, glass is ok, window wont stay up. thank you for your time, really appreciate it! M

buy a new regulator on ebay or at a parts store, stay away from dealers. pay a glass shop to install it.
if you have ever changed a regulator, you would gladly pay anyone 50 bucks to do it for you the next time. there are several neat little tools and connectors which come in handy for this task, a glass shop will have them, you won't. if you follow my advice you will have about 150 bucks in it, if you go to a dealer it will be about 400.

Does anyone know the part number for 2000 Daewoo leganza driver's window power window motor? I have located new motors but the seller doesn't know which motor fits the driver window? If I can get the... has complete breakdown of Daewoo parts. Prices are competitive and they have most in stock. Their diagrams show the motors for front door, left and right as well as back door left and right. Part numbers are listed also.

My driver side window wont go up. When tested no power going to it. But the fuse isnt bad. Anyone have any ideas? When button is pushed down the relay clicks.

The problem will be either the window switch or window regulator motor. With the relay clicking sounds like window regulator. It easiest and and costs only a couple dollars more to get and replace the whole assembly versus just the motor. I hope this is helpful.

sometimes the window clips, or guides, can loosen. if you're not careful and keep operating the window, it could contact the window regulator arms and bend them. this will require window regulator replacement

Bad Windows and Door Lock...Please Help

My Audi A4 is a 99, so they're the same vintage, and the A4s have a fairly common rate of failure for the window regulators. They're easy to change, but usually expensive to buy. You probably will have the most luck on eBay sourcing them at a good price. You remove the door panel ( will probably have a tech article detailing this), unbolt the regulator from the window assembly (in my A4 it's three bolts), and it pops straight out. Disconnect the electrical connector, and reverse the procedure to install the new one.
