Question about 2004 Dodge Stratus

2004 dodge stratus

I hit a deer about 3 months ago and it won't start. It turns over but it just don't fire. I was wondering if a fuse is blown or if the gas line shuts off after a front end collision.

Blower motor on 2004 dodge stratus doesn't turn at all even on high. took motor out and hooked it to a battery and it turns fine. can't find a blown fuse. what's the problem?

Could be your blower motor resistor, here's a link to what it looks like,it's located by blower motor, easy to remove, can't tell by looking at to see if bad,but Autozone will take part back if it doesn't solve problem.

I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus and just replaced the alternator and battery and it still won't charge. All the accessories start to fail. Any ideas?

i believe these charging systems are controlled by the ecm(computer).you should have it checked out at a shop.these don`t always give a code to set the check engine light.was the alternator a new one or a used one.have you checked the charging system with a voltmeter or do you drive it until it stops running due to not enough voltage.if it was a used one you may have gotten a bad alternator.have you checked the fuses to see if it may have a bad fuse.just some suggestions.

I have a 2004 dodge stratus that has power to lights but does not turn over when i try to crank even after jumping it off.

Check ignition switch fuse. This is a 20 Amps. see that it has not blown. In 2004 Fuse should be nr 8 in the power box under the hood (newer models #24).

Once you are sure that battery, fuse and wires are OK, check starter and ignition switch. Check if there is 12V to starter while cranking. If there is power and the starter motor does not turn, then the motor is gone.
If there is no power to starter motor when you crank, then the ignition switch located inside the steering column may need replacement. Before repairing, try reading error codes with a code scanner.

Is it turning over?
If not, check for loose connections, and or blown fuses.

If it is turning over, please provide a more concise description of the problem.

Thanks, and Good Luck!

Oil light on a 2004 dodge stratus

it could also be a malfunctioning sensor. your best bet is to take it to a shop and have them check it out. might cost a few dollars now but its better than a blown engine and it will give you piece of mind knowing exactly whats wrong
