Engine stalls when throttled. buick century

Are you leaking gas? maybe it's sucking air and your not getting enough pressure when throttled. I found a little leak on my truck right by the tank, not dripping but tube is shot so it sucks air and kills the pressure so when i press gas pedal it's dieing or stalling...

My dodge neon acts like its dying overheating and stalls at times .. I got the fans working but still stalling? Could it be the thermostat? When you start it I have to pump the gas petal.

Hi, does your temperature gauge show that the engine is too hot? If so, you may have cracked your engine block (letting coolant get into the cylinders, and stalling the engine. Cause could be a bad thermostat. Also be sure you have enough oil in the engine. Could also be something as simple as a bad spark plug. Spark plugs are inexpensive and easy to replace, I would start there.

2000 LeSabre starts but runs very rough and stalls. After

Sounds like the plugs are not firing hot enough on initial start-up. Try a quick spark plug change, and clean throttle body. The gas being injected, isn't being burned fast enough by the plugs, which causes the car to have a hard start-up. You may try a higher octane gas or Lucas injector cleaner with your usual octane rating. Lucas comes in a very small bottle, and works very well in my opinion.

Engine hard to start in the morning. It stalls as if no gas

Possibly a faulty pcv valve or vacuum hose split, or fallen off.

BMW 740i Stalling Issue (Fuel Pump/Line??)

To save you all the hassle check your spark plugs & distributor first if you are getting a spark. To do that first take out the number one spark plug wire it will be the one closest to the distributor. Second take out the spark plug, then put the spark plug in the spark plug wire. Turn on the engine u should see a spark at the spark plug if your distributor is ok and spark plug. If not replace your distributor.

Car stalls changed spark plugs still wont start

Not a lot to go on! Remove the distributor cap and see if turns when the engine is cranked. My guess is the timing belt is shot. Frankster016
