I had the same problem. It was a bent rod on the regulator, which burned out the motor. Easiest way is to switch out the whole assembly, the motor and the regulator. Mine is working just fine now. I am a female and was able to switch it out just fine i just had to have someone else hold the window in the right positions to get to the bolts on the window.

Sounds like you have a weak window motor .
They are a real pain to change ...
If at all possible stop using the window because sooner or later it wont roll up .

The driver's side of my windshield washer is clogged and no fluid comes out. Could be frozen? What do I do to clear the blockage. Car is 2005 Pontial Sunfire 4-door.

you wait until it gets warmer, or take a hair dryer to it, when it does unfreeze use the higher cost stuff with antifreeze in it.

2004 Pontiac Sunfire Power Windows Do Not Work Properly

Same problem. I had the driver window go first and then the passenger. You must replace the motors. Moisture has gotten into the motor and rusted parts of it. New motor cost be $55. It took two people (myself and a friend) a good 8 hours to extract old motor and install the new one.

2005 pontiac sunfire rear defrost doesn't work

sounds like a broken grid(the lines across the rear window) or thepower wire has broke off the window
to check this you need some FINE STEEL WOOL
turn the rear defrost on and move the steel wool across the grid not up and down slowly and litely if there is a break in the grid the steel wool will SPARK then mark it keep checking there could be more then one break
then you will need a repair kit
hope this helps

My passenger window is stuck in the down position, Driver side works fine. could this be the motor, fuse, ? Please advise. thanks

since your other power windows are working and if the other interior accessories are working fine I would suggest having the power window motor actuator checked and replaced if found to be defective.

2005 Sunfire Window will go down but not up.

no before you replace the motor because it goes down and is a pain id replace the window switch panel on the door in many cases one side of the switch works and the other dose not do to it being worn out ! replacing the switch panel is easy and takes less than 5 minutes in most cases and can save time and money if this is the problem as in so many cars! let me now it this helps
