Have you checked the fuel pump pressure? About 100,000 miles the fuel pump of some Isuzus tend to fail. What I recommend Is to check
the fuel pressure of the pump using a fuel pressure gauge. Another possibility is a clogged fuel filter.Check the fuel filter.

I have seen a few crank sensors do this. When I pulled them, they had a small crack in them. Don't know where yours is. But guessing under the harmonic balancer.

Was having a slight hitch when accelerating up hills then the other day my cat got red hot and it would barely run, now i fixed the cat problem but it wont start, any tips?

When the engine really got hot is there a possibility you may have over expanded some parts and now the engine is sort of tight and is not spinning fast enough to start.

When my 1972 chevrolet 350 4 barrel is warmed up it acts like its not getting gas and jerks and eventually dies. if i wait a few minutes it will start up but after slight acceleration it starts it aga

Good chance it is not getting fuel, or enough fuel.
When the rig is cold, the choke is closed. As it warms up, the choke opens.
If the metering jets inside the carb are dirty, they may not be letting enough fuel into the barrels. You could also have a vac leak that is masked by the choke until the engine warms up.

Problems with fuel intake, car jerks at first

sounds like your tranny neeeds flushed, everything in that auto tranny is moved by the transmission itself, there are electronic valves that open and close to make things move but all they do is allow high pressure tranny fluid to push other things around. there is a lot going on in there, usually when the fluid gets bad or low or old the first thing is the govenor of the transmission will start acting up. check the level and the color. besure to read how to check the level, some times you have to have a warm tranny and running. other times not. also the color should be almost a clear pink, if its red or worse a dark red, get it flushed

It sounds like to me That the Timing may be a little off. I would get that checked and check the Fuel pump and Filter. If the Fuel filter is a Little clogged it could cause this Prob.

you really need to test fuel pressure/did you replace filter under car/you should also replace fuel regulator on top frt of eng./but most likely the fuel pump has moved on the mounting bracket and allowing fuel to leak back into the tank (low pressure)

I think you have a filter problem, Its located under the drivers side seat underneath the car. It has two small clamps that hold it and a braket that has a small screw that will needed to be removed to replace the filter
