A CD was put into a 2000 Honda Accord and some sort of code came up showing PEO, no other cds worked after that? What is this and what is the solution?

SOURCE: Radio Pin Code

Open your glove box and look on one of the side panels. Your radio code should be there.

I have a crv also. the audio system has an anti-theft mechanism, to deter thieves from stealing your cd player/radio. you need a code to turn your unit back on, usually a four or five digit code, that should have been provided when you bought the vehicle. If you don't have it, the unit will come back on after, and only after a full, uninterupted hour of driving.

You need to look for an unlock code, it is sometimes located in the glovebox, it may be printed on the side of the radio or you might find it written in the owners manual. If you look in your manual, it may describe other locations to look.

The same thing happened to me. Supposedly you can't put burn cd in that radio. So I need to get it fix or get a new one. I took out the radio fuse out waited about a minute, then put it back on. Now it works just fine but the only problem is that I won't be able to change the CDs that r in it. I'm stuck with the same six until I could get it fix but for now ill deal with it.

Hi

If your are getting PEO it only means Player Error Optical, which means in most cases the
laser has malfunctioned. When this happens of course,no CD or disc will

It's actually pe-0. It means the cd player motor or laser pickup is weak or not working. Try cleaning with alcohol or replace the laser head.
