Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500
The belt is being pulled by a spring loaded pulley. this pulley could be lift by using an exact box wrench that would fit at the front nut and turn the wrench to the left. the pulley would then raise and you can slide the belt off the pulley. be careful when releasing the pulley because the tension is really big.
another precaution also is to remember where the belt loops on the pulleys. it is very hard if you don't take a note on that. there are a lot of combination but only one will work.
tnx 4 using fixya.
