Is there some type of adapter plug to conect a 7-way wiring plug into the side of the bed of my truck and still keep the 7-way under the bumper. i was told i can't have my plug connector off my ho

just buy another 7 pin connecter and connect the wires to the same wires that your existing plug is conneced to. or just drill a hole throgh floor of box and drop your fifth wheel cable through hole and plug into the one you have. whoever complained about the cable over the tailgate has to much time on there hands. what if you take the tailgate off what then?

Any possibility of integrating an ipod into an x type 2004 audio system?

I’ve been looking for some time at installing an auxiliary audio input device to compliment the x-type audio system and a generic mp3 player.
From my searches it looks like the x-type has an unusual laser driven stereo system making aux-in a difficult topic. Also, I'm not a fan of the mp3 to radio transmitters where you tune in your radio to the same frequency as the device - these seem to suffer from poor signal and interference issues.
I chose to install a separate amplifier that is located between the stereo and the speakers. The device I chose is named “io_connect” ~£40. http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Audio/iO_Play.htm in addition I bought a SOT lead suitable for this application from ebay ~£10 and a mobile phone cradle and charger ~£8. Here’s what I think is good about this method:-

Jaguar stereo remains untouched
Easy installation
Clear mp3 & SatNav playback
SatNav plays over speakers with music continuing also.
Can upgrade for Bluetooth connectivity
Tidy finish.

I dont know how to change the dead battery on my 1990 Buick Lesabre. Its conections are on the side and im not sure how to get them off, or where to get another one with conections on the side and not the...

The connections unscrew just like any other bolt. There just on the side. Most auto supply stores carry these type of batteries. The thing to make sure you get right when purchasing the new battery is the cold cranking amps. Make sure these are correct for your car. The auto supply store should be able to set you up with the correct battery. Hope this helps

How do i connect my mobile phone to the in car one

It is not a bluetooth system. I called the dealer about it and it needs to be a specific phone when purchased at the time of the car for it to work. Otherwise the Jag dealer offers an aftermarket setup running over $300-500. Cheaper to go w/ a bluetooth headset.
