It's simple and just few screws. If you are looking for detailed instructions to do that I will suggest to do it on your free day or with some help if you don;t want to spent $50 at local mechanic. Great way to learn something new.

It's most likely a bad fuse. Locate your fuse box and on the inside of fuse box door should be a diagram locate that one pull it and take a look at it. In the middle of the fuse there is a link if it's broken it's bad. Make sure you replace with same fuse. If the fuse blows again you most likely have a short some where.

Trying to replace the brake ight in a1997 toyota


Open trunk. Undo the screw holding the assembly to the body. Pull firmly backward, or insert flat head screwdriver in front of assembly to pry backward. Light sockets twist out of assembly.

the tail light and brake lights are working from double contact bulbs. check the grounding, you dont have enough ground from one of the bulbs

When dim head light is turned on, right side brake light is on with high intensity. When brake is applied, the right side brake light is still on. Meanwhile left side brake light behaves normally-dim head...


sounds like you may have a bad brake light switch i think you problem will go away if you change it out. hope this has been of some help to you !

Appears engine is burning up coolant


Sound like a head gasket or worse case warped head

The head bolts are tty "torque to yield " and should be replaced

when replacing gasket.

Have the compression checked and check for moisture in the tailpipe

also check to see if there is water in the oil .

Ok first check the water pump and if that is ok sounds like the head gasket blown, look for water in the oi, thisl will be like a milky colour
