Already fixed it by going to the mitsu dealership and buying the replacement relief valve, it only cost about 3 bucks, then i just recharged the freon, i also found out that my outlander had two recall issues that were taken care of the following day for free by the dealer, so thanks to the dealership and to all of yall for the help.

Same thing happened to me.. it's an automatic release valve, but what i did. was just pass my thumb over that valve and it stopped spewing the refrigerant out. It spewed most of what i had put in out. if i would have know you can shut it.. i woouls have done it sooner. The Outlander also strats to act up as if it want to stall. no idea what that was but the lil refridge that went in held for another year.

1986 Pontiac Fiero. What has to be done to be able to use R-134 refrigerant?

There are simple conversion kits that basically just replace the service ports to use the r-134 type hoses, but it is best to have a pro evacuate system and flush it, draw a vacuum, add correct oil and freon. If the system has been empty or dead a while, best to replace dryer and orifice tube or expansion valve as well.

Where is the low side service port on a 88 caravan? Putting R-134A in

TAKE VECHICLE TO A GARAGE THAT DO AIR CONDITIONER WORK BECAUSE 1988 MODEL MORE LIKE HAS R-12 FREON. THAT WONT MIX WITH R - 134 REFRIGERANT THAT WOULD DAMAGE YOUR AC SYSTEM.

1999 gmc Jimmy only Blows hot air. Diverter actuator is moving and working. Even when compressor starts all pipes are hot. Check 134A and was low. When put in less than a can the compressor would cycle on...

When recharging the ac you need to recover the old refridgerent. That means you have to take out all the old 134 and replace with new 134. On the engine sticker under the hood should tell you how many pounds of 134 it takes. When put in the 134 make sure your ac is on high.

Will I be able to put r-134a refrigerant frion in a 1992 acura vigor

I'm not sure if the system on that car is 134a or R12. There should be a decal under the hood that will tell you which one you are currently running, or on the compressor if it is easily visible. If it is an r12 system, you will have to buy a retrofit kit that converts the charge fittings to take 134a, as they are different size fittings.

Most of the oil should be in your compressor, if the compressor was not damaged and not replaced you should be ok on oil other than recharging it with a 134 w/oil. That should be sufficient. Usually there is about 8 oz put directly into the compressor when replaced. In that vehicle I believe it should alos be recharged with 32 oz. of freon.
