Battery is weak or bad. The clicking noise is the starter solenoid and is a result of...not enough power in the battery.

The clicking sound may be the starter relay. It could be the relay may be bad. Check the battery. Your voltage should be at least 12.7v to increase the instance of quick start. Check also the wiring. There may be loose connections to the starter or the relay.

Charge your battery ,, the system is 12 volts,, but to start the car requires much more amperage than it takes to Light a interior light, any light for that matter,, even the radio will work, yet not enough amps are getting to the starter. clean and tighten all the battery connections, once fully charged your battery should have a voltage of 12.4 volts minimum, to start the car ,, once started,, check the voltage on the posts again while its running, you should get a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts, if you do your alternator is ok, if not replace it. See if you can jump start the car using another car to Jump start ,

My s10 when turn key on it makes couple clicking sounds then everything goes dead. Tried few times an wont start what may be the problem

The "clicking" is usually the starter solenoid chattering. This can be caused by:
  1. Bad Starter Solenoid
  2. Bad Starter
  3. Weak battery not supplying enough current to engage starter.
Turn on the interior dome light. When you crank the engine, if the light dims slightly, the battery is probably OK. If it goes out, or blinks at the rate of the clicking noises, have the battery tested.

2005 monatna makes clicking noise check engine light comes on and lights dim everything inside works, radio, seats, doors, etc but car wont crank

It is probably your starter. If it doesn't make a noise when you turn it, starter. Check fuses as well.

Engine wont start All interior and exterior lights come on clicking noise heard under the hood Radio still works

Check all of your fuses then make sure that you are getting 12 volts from the battery. If starter is making a grinding noise, it sounds as if it is not getting enough voltage. If it is and makes a whirring noise, it may be the starter itself. Hope this helps.

Clicking noise like clock in the dash.

That is the body computer making noise. It has a time out feature that turns the auto lights off after 30-90 seconds, and the interior lights are the same way. Sounds like it may be going bad.
