Your Cav has Fuel Injection, therefore the electric fuel pump is inside the tank. uel injection units require much more pressure than a manual pump can deliver.

Where is the inertia reset on a 04 cavalier

What seams to be the problem Jessica ? No fuel ? This vehicle has no inertia fuel cut off switch ! I 'm looking at a wiring diagram for this vehicle, there is a fuel pump relay in the under hood fuse / relay box . In the instrument fuse box is a fuse marked F/P-INJ. fuse 15amp.this supply's power to the fuel pump through the fuel pump relay. If you knew how to do it you check for power at the fuel pump relay ! Where is the fuel reset button on a 98 cavalier located

There is no fuel reset button on a cavalier or any GM vehicle. The only manufacturer that uses them is Ford.

The fuel pump is controlled by the PCM which grounds the relay and allows power to the pump.

Have you checked for fuel pressure or for power to the pump?

I was driving my 2004 chevrolet cavalier it stop run and i can not trun it back on check gas line and no gas is coming up thou fuel line what can be wrong?

It sounds like you have a bad fuel pump, a bad fuse to the fuel system, or the cut-off switch was tripped to the fuel pump. Check you owner's manual to check the cut-off switch reset. If this doesn't fix the problem and you have replaced the fuse to the fuel system then you will most likely have to replace the fuel pump. Start with the easiest solution first before replacing the fuel pump.
