Loosen off the tensioner pulley in order to loosen the belt. First, loosen the bolt in the center of the pulley in order for it to be able to move, then turn the long adjuster bolt off to the side of the pulley in the bracket, and then the position of the pulley will change, allowing you to loosen it enough to get the belt off. Kind of hard to explain, but look for the pulley that is all by itself that doesn't turn anything...that is the one that adjusts the belt.

Difficult to steer:Possible power steering belt failure.

Bad alternator? Check voltage at battery.Needs at least 12 V. to enguage starter. Try jumping the battery from another vehicle.

Is it very difficult to change the cam iol seal on a 2.0 toyota rav 4 1999, and is there anything I should know that the book doesn't tell

pulling the timing belt on older RAV4 engines is a more difficult task but not impossible.

How to replace a fan belt on toyota rav 4 x reg

loosen all the bolts/nuts on the alternator, the just slip the belt over the pulleys,wedge something(screwdriver) behind the alternator to tighten belt, then do up the alternator adjuster bolt then the holding bolts.run engine,turn off then check tightness of belt,not too tight. 1/2 inch flex on longest length between pulleys.

I need help getting the serpentine belt on my 2004 Rav 4

SOMETIMES THE DIAGRAM IS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD. OR ON THE WHEEL WELLS INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. CHECK UNDER THE HOOD ANYWHERE A STICKER COULD BE. IT MIGHT ALSO BE IN THE OWNERS MANUAL.

Cabin filter needs to be replaced

1999 Rav/4 does not have a cabin air filter.

My suggestion would be to remove the heater fan blower motor, under the glove box. 3 screws.
Look for debris in the fan motor "squirrel cage"...sometimes, the fan can **** small, loose papers out of you glove box
