Question about 1997 Dodge Stratus
I have a 1997 Stratus and the car starts to make a "roar" sound at 25mph. From time to time the "roar" is not that loud, but it is there. As I increase speed the roar become louder. I thought it was the tires but I went over a newly resurfaced bridge the tires made a distinct sound and the roar did not change. I have tried to shift the car into neutral while at 40mph to see if the roar is still there and it is. I cannot tell if the noise is coming from the back or the front. Any idea where I should start looking?
Try replacing the front end wheel baring(s) If it is a roar that you can hear resonating from the windows, this is most likely it.
