Question about 2003 Land Rover Freelander
There is already dedicated wiring for this , remove the right rear luggage compartment cover.You will find a loose white plug taped to the wiring harness , you can plug in a factory harness or cut the plug off (each wire seperately)test each wire and wire this up to your trailer plug.You will get wire details for your region from your nearest repair shop.

No, there's not dedicated wiring for this. Landman must be talkign about a Disco or other model. This vehicle has to be hard wired from the battery. You need what's called a modulite and a wiring kit.
check out www.youtube.com and type in modulite installation. They have several vehicles similar that are wired the same way.
