Question about 1987 Suzuki Samurai

Rim touched when turning

Hi
I recently acquired a suzuki Jimmy 1300 am living in a remote part of kenya where roads are very rough. Suzuki are among the only vehicles which can operate in our area.
My suzuki developed a problem yesterday when turned left to maximum a rod is touching the left rim and this has made me very uncomfortable pease advice.

    I would not give you any advice but to take it to a front end shop forthwith.

Put 1/2 spacer between your rims and brake drums.

Problems with suzuki


IF the suzy engine has variable valve control V VT or mivec or what ever it is for a suzy It will be a toss up but for my money I would pick the mitsi engine as they have been developed for off road racing

When i suddenly apply the brakes,it gives out like a rattling noise but still comes to a halt.this is especialy so on rough surfaces'ERIC from Kenya


ABS kicks in. It's normal on a rough road with hard , sudden braking. On regular road it may kick in too with real hard stop.

ok need more info
have u changed the wheels to any other diffrent zsizes or mags?
what kid of rod?
any rod that is touching it is unsafe so get it checked immidiantly
could be sway bar
