There is an intake temp sensor on the intake make sure is connected. or you might need to replace it. What engine do you have.

Your catalytic converter is plugged up. Take it off and punch it out with a crow bar or truck tire iron. the other option is to replace it for about $400.

Hello your problem is simple if it is just sitting there running and you have heat but if you drive it and you lose heat it is the thermostat, it is stuck open and the fluid is passing threw the motor to fast to heat up. get a new thermostat and problem will be fixed

No immediate heat

Check the fluid level in your radiator reservoir. Mine was doing the same thing and I found mine was very low. Filled it up and the heat came on through.

sounds like your thermostat is stuck open, if its takes a very long time for the engine to warm up and you get nothing but cold air from your heat then thats the first place i would start.

1995 k2500 Chevy truck engine runs rough some of the time?

I had a similar problem @105k. I had changed the fuel filter but it was still sending all kinds of codes that were related to 2 problems. Long story short, the main problem was a bad trigger assembly in the distributor (rough running) and the other was a loose engine to body ground (engine code issue). Good luck, this worked for me, now 171k.
