There are lots of nicknames for those lights, on any car!! For our purpose here we will just call it a side courtesy lamp. To access the bulb try one of these: Look at the edges of the lens for small groove or slot. If it has them use a small screwdriver to gently pry it out of the fixture. OR The entire fixture may POP out of the pillar. OR Remove the interior trim piece on the backside of the pillar to gain access to the bulb. Hope this helps.

1988 oldsmobile ninety eight only running off of four cylinders instead of six and its not the coil pack

If you replaced only the coils, and not the module beneath, you wasted your time. Most times the module is what causes this.

It would be located towards the rear of the vehicle. Most likely either to direct rear of gas tank or front of gas tank.

Motor mount, front right, solid or hydraulic?

Hello wrygrl...The OEM (orginal equipment) passenger side motor mount for the 1988 olds ninety-eight was a hydraulic type. After market "solid" type mounts are available for replacement...either type will work. Shop around and get some price quotes, i believe westar makes a solid type mount that sells for around 22 bucks.
Hope this answers your question. Have a safe and happy memorial day weekend.
