Question about 1999 Ford Escort
Hi my drivers side window on my ford escort has got stuck. i put the window down and as it was put all the way down i heard a bit of a bang. i didnt think anything of it but as i went to put it up it wont work. i have had a look to see if it came of the runner but it hasnt. i checked the switch and there is no power running to it. My passenger side window runs of the same fuse as the drivers side does and that is fine so i am a bit lost. Any suggerstion to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as it will cost my a fortune to take it to the garage thanks.
I had the similiar problem the window motor has an overheat on it thatwill reset when it cools. But my real problem that made it overheat was the window tracks needed to be greased once they were greased the window works fine.

I'LL BEE INCLIND TO CHECK FUSES AGAIN , CHECK TO SEE IF POWER TO SWITCH AND OUT PUTS ,2 OFF POWER UP AND DOWN?? IF YOU HAVE POWER CHECK FEED TO WINDOW MOTOR IT,S SELF, DOOR CARD WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED FOR THIS, YOU WILL ABLE TO CHECK SCISSOR ACTION OF WINDOW GEAR TO CHECK IF ROOLER BROKE OF OR TWISTED?
