Could someone share their expertise on automotive electrical systems? I have blinker issues with my new camper.

It would be easier to answer if new what kind of truck you have as far as test light staying on and not blinking sounds like you are not on the correct pin turn your flashers on and check each pin should have 2 pins blink right and left if not look in fuse box and check for a blown fuse most likely under hood copartment trailer turn signals

Dont have signal

Click the turn signal switch to either the right or left and get out and check if the BULB comes on but doesn't blink. Try both directions. Does the arrow for that direction also come on, on the dashboard instruments and stays on but not blink? That is a built in indicator that a filament has burned out in one of the bulbs. Try replacing the bulbs. Could also be the fuse for that circuit. Check fuse panel for that circuit. Could also be the turn signal relay. Replace with newer style relay.
