Question about 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Does anyone know how to get the battery out of the car. It seems to be locked or latched to something and I can't figure out how to remove it. Anyone know? thanks a bunch
The socket size you will need is a 13mm. The top post bolts are 10mm and 13mm. It is also best to remove the air filter top cover which is easy. Just unclip the two hold downs and using a flathead screwdriver, loosen the clamp at the top. Then simply push it backwards and then out.

At the top center of the battery, if you push the air filter housing back a little you will see a bolt. You need a ratchet with an extention and a socket, about 5/8 but cant remember exactly. Loosen the bolt dont remove and it will release the battery.
