Sounds like your drivers side window regulator motor gear is bad as far as the other windows drivers door switch is most likely bad if you dont have experience working on electrical or have never taken apart a door panel I would recommend seeing a mechanic. To check the switch you have to disassemble passenger door panel accesa the window regulator motor disconnect the weatherpack connect hook up multimeter and test for power while having an assistant push the window switch down

Rather then swaping parts that don't fix it , testing the electrical is the proper way to diagnose . Using a wiring diagram to locate testing point's in the circuit . Tesing for B+ voltage at the switch , in an out , at the motor etc.... How to test power window switch motor 1985 2001 Toyota

it does not sound like an electrical issue if it fell down.
what may have happened is the bolt that hold the window onto the window mechanism has come out. you may find it is working ok now because the bottom of the window is sitting on top of the mechanism that goes up and down.
wind the window half way down and see if you can lift it up easily, if you can then the bolt has come out and needs to be replaced before the window falls down again and smashes.
if you remove the door card as per the manual it is normally an easy job.

Try sprayer the switch with electrical contract cleaner and then operate the switch.

A car I owned the left rear window did that. I could pull it up by taking a hold of it while another person held the switch. They told me the problem was the track was made out of plastic and it had broken. They had to replace the track. Yes it was expensive to repair but is ok now.

you should check the wire harness that goes from the door to the truck there must be a bad conection near by there somewhere in the harness hope this could help you.
