Fuel fail 44 usually indicates the lambda sensor is faulty. (oxygen sensor)

All the electrical turns off for a few seconds and comes back on. The engine keeps running, no problem. But the dash lights, clock and everything resets?

loose fuse. or defective fuse for dash.
some fuses have hair line cracks in side, replace it.
some keyswitches have 2 ignition outputs.
one for EFI (runs engine)
and one more for all else.
that too can fail, we use a thing called a VOLTMETER
to find which wire is dropping out (0v) and move upstream until it dont. the bad part is between the good side 12v and the 0v side.
if no tools, all you can do is gue$$

My check engine and check fuel cap light keep coming on after i changed the gas cap twice and reset the light it came back on what could this be. I drive a 06 lincoln navigator

You need to diagnose any codes you get
& smoke test the evap system, to find a
problem

Seldom does throwing on parts with a name similar
to a code work

Codes have nothing to do with installing parts

Clearing codes, clears all data needed to diagnose
the failed system & the evap system only runs every few
days,so you done as far as codes helping

If I remove the cat from a 92 f250 with a 351 windsor will I have problems?

Thankfully for you that your truck is old enough to not care about a cat. But if you do live in an emissions state then i would encourage you not to for you may fail inspection. However, you can also buy a high flow cat and get almost the same results as not having one at all.

I have a 2006 corola. It sometimes just quits while driving it. I pull over and shut the key off for a couple of minutes then restart and is ok for awile. The check engine light also comes on when this...

Let's try the simple first and replace the fuel filter soon as we can, The fuel filter may be at the end of it's life and is causing the engine to quit working when the flow of fuel is restricted. Note the fuel pump is working harder trying to keep the fuel pressure up and may over heat causing it to fail also which mean a costly replacement of the fuel pump in the gas tank. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

Throttle/Idle/running problem - wants to run too fast, or stall out

RPM's up and down check EGR valve and sensor. EGR valve and sensor control idle. That's why your getting the surging on rpm's and this could be giving out the other codes. If mass flow was bad car will not start and the same for the map sensor. O2 sensor measures gas and air for right mixer. TPS controls 0-60 speed as in throttle respons.
