There should be a label in the engine compartment that gives the A/C system capacity. If you can't find that a call to the dealer parts department will tell you. Hope this helps

it is poor design on behalf of lotus the resistor pack that controls the fan is mounted externally below the fan unit and subsequently gets wet corrodes and fails. it is a difficult job not for the faint hearted and requires **** shell removal. There is a lotus mod released to fix this fault i would suggest using it prevent future trouble. Speak to a lotus dealer or specialist.
