the EFI already makes max HP. when you do WideOpen throttle , the EFI goes to about 12.5:1 AFR that AFR (air fuel ratio) is MAX HP for fueling. so my guess is your question assumes the HP is limited by the EFI. its not true. The only way to more power is to : Increase displacement. or make it breath better (complex) or blow it. (forced induction of any kind) (if your question was)???? how to make my EFI handing a bigger engine (or blown) then that is a whole other complex answer. but I can answer that with the best book ever published on that. by Jeff Hartman (amazon, type name bingo) How to tune and modify Engiine manaement systems. non better
The idle speed on pretty much all vehicles newer then a 1988 are all controlled by the vehicles on board computer, and the sensors which supply the computer with its information. If you are having problems with an idle that is either to high or to low you might want to check your throttle positioning sensor. A vacuum leak may also cause a vehicle to have a high or low idle. I hope this helps you out.

The port may be covered with a brass looking cap, un srew the capp and the port looks like the valve on the tire.
