Thats interesting. I had the exact same problem that just occurred. Brake lights work, just the dash and tail are out. Any solutions yet?

There is a "small component" fuse panel at the drivers side, door hinge area.
A second one for "large draw" components is under the hood, drivers side, close to the windshield (but actually above the wheel).

***************** Remember the fuse blew for a reason....need to find out why.

No dash and tail lights working.

Well the dash lights and tail lights are on two different circuits and fuses, but both controlled by the headlight switch.
Have you checked the fuses to see if they have power ?

A couple of weeks ago, my tag lights went out. Wasn't the bulbs, so my dad ran a hotwire from a tail light to the tag lights to keep them on. A couple days ago, my AC stopped working. Not blowing any...

The dash lights take a feed from the tail circiut, may be a corroded connector, pinched wire somewhere. The blower problem likely not related, maybe bad blower motor or resistor.

From what you just said i dont belive the mechanic checked your fuses correctly.

Check your self to confirm, But if no avial i belive the controller for your lighting may be fried.
