Question about 1985 Mazda RX-7
Bro, check this out...
parang computer problem eh..no spark daw...
my 1985 rx7 blew a heater hose and stop ed on me i replaced the hose and now the car wont start got fuel starter just clicks battery is brand new heatewr hose blew car stoped and wont start changed hose checked for spark got spark and fuel
As you've got spark the engine must be turning over, otherwise you wouldn't know.... You say that the starter just clicks and the battery is new....If the engine is turning, what do you mean....
If you have spark and fuel and the engine is turning, you've got another problem.....but one that's related.....The most likely, especially if you carried on until the engine became so hot, it stopped you!....the cylinder head gasket has blown....Check the oil and see if it's turned a milky grey colour.....If it has....cylinder head and or gasket....but that's not the end....You may have seized rings or seals....Is it a rotary engine?... With engines these days, the operating temp is much higher, part of falling in with emission controls.....the down side..... if it over heats, much more damage.....Check the compression and see if there's leakage.
Best of luck Johngee10

Thanks, replied to it. The user has replace the ECU already and the most critical, the crank angle sensor. Probably something basic, like a missing ignition B+12.
