Colour code I try to learn what the colour code of my Mazda 6 MPS. Probably it is coded in VIN number (JMZGG82L601644127) but I do not know which its part refers to colour. Could you help me?

The VIN number contains the colour codes.

The name of the colour is usually listed with the other vehicle details in the literature pack supplied when new.

A call to the dealer parts department stating the code should produce the name of the colour.

A paint supplier can also tell you the colour from the vehicle details plus the code...

possibles are
3CYCWWA-Ink Blue- Pearl -code E
8CWAWWA Blazer Blue - Solid- code A
car may have be resprayed or repaired

you need the colour code on the riveted plate or door frame sticker to confirm it is code A

any auto paint shop can make the 2009 up using its formula listing
or super cheap has small spray touch up cans

I'm not familiar with your car ... but does it have ordinary ht ignition leads, or colour coded ignition wires?
If it has colour coded ignition wires - each wire is a different colour for each different plug.

Colour code is normally on a plaque beside the bonnet release mechanism under the bonnet. If there are two plaques one is for the car chassis number (VIN), make + model, the other is for trim specification and colour. Make a complete note of everything and most auto paint shops will pick out the four figure code to look for. Alternatively, phone up Seat parts department and quote them the VIN chassis number and simply ask them for the paint code, they will have all the details of every car ever made by VAG on their computer records.

As much as I remember from my Mazda most of the plugs don't have to many colours and they are different size and have different pins and sockets, try to match few of them and you will see it is not a big deal
