Question about 1997 Toyota Corolla
Can you tell me where is the #@!% in-cabin air filter for this car?
All I can see is the decomposing, crappy foam over the fan blower motor, behind the glove box. Don't see anything in Haynes or Chiltons book. Was considering pulling out the whole unit with a big chain, but I was told not to do that.
I hate to mention this, but there is no cabin air filter in that particular vehicle. Nor is there one available for that vehicle. Cabin air filters did not become in fashion until the last 3-4 years. If you had one, there would be a rectangular slide-out compartment right above the fan motor, on the cooler box housing. What you are seeing may be rodent infestation, common to that varient of Corolla.
