Headlights won't work on 97 Mazda 626

Headlights suddenly went out. Where do we check first - other than the bulbs themselves. They're fine.

If both headlight's just suddenly went out then i would check the fuse. The lid on the fuse box will have the number of the fuse you would need to check.

1996 mazda 626 / headlight won't turn on without dimmer switch on high. any solutions?

So what you are saying is you only have high beam lights ?
The problem could be the dimmer switch or the headlight switch, or a relay.
Have you checked for power at the dimmer switch and the relay ?

Headlights and high beams suddenly quit working Fuse box has no cover so I can't tell which fuse to check. Parking lites work fine.

well you have to check the one at a time to see which one has blown if any.I think you have a switch problem if high beam as well as low are not working

Cruise control problem

The cruise control is terminated by the brake lamp circuit, Check the brake, tail lamp for water or a short. Your turn signals are on a different circuit. Check the bulb sockets closely for corrosion. Failing this check connectors for the tail lights for possible water penetration, or loose connections.

Hope this ia of some help
