Depends on engine code, and single cam or twin cam. check your code. D16W4 sohc stage 1. 29nm stage 2 72nm. D16Y5. stage 1 20nm. 2. 49nm. 3.67nm . 4. 67nm. there are 2 other codes for sohc engines these are the same as D16W4. DOHC engine as follows B16A2 stage 1. 29nm. 2. 83nm. hope this helps, if you are ot sure give m the exact engine code and i can verify.

What is the torque for the cylinder head bolts on the 2004 Honda civic hybrid. I've looked all over the Internet and I can't find it

you will not find torque settings for the cylinder head bolts. the setting to get the correct tension will start at 30ft/lb and then becomes an angle of turn of the head stud. So what you will be looking for will be something like start at 30ft/lb the turn 90 degrees then another 90 degrees and then 30 degrees .( these are not the figures just an example of what you will be reading as a head tension setting) you will need and angle gauge ( around $30.00 from a good auto parts store ) to do the job

99 Honda civic 1.6 engine torque specs and sequences for cylinder head

Tighten the cylinder head bolts to their final torque specification in two steps. Use a crisscross sequence starting with the bolts at the middle of the head and working toward the outer bolts.
  1. Step 1: Tighten each bolt to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
  2. Step 2: Tighten each bolt to 61 ft. lbs. (85 Nm).
