Question about 2000 Ford Excursion
when i drove car normaly no prob, but when ik was flooring it,it would change from 2nd straight to o/d whith a thut and then back to 3d,now it stays in 1st till bout 3000 revs then changes gear straight thru o/d and when i try to floor it,it starts slipping?
could you please help,as i live in England and nobody knows about american cars
It would seem that your vehicle has a computer issue, by that i mean that it is sensing a problem in your drivetrain and is trying to compensate for it. you could have a faulty engine speed sensor,a defecti9ve trans control module or something internal in the transmission it'self you should take it to a shop and have them connect it to a diagnostic scan tool this will tell them exactly which sensor or module is bad. please rate this
