Question about 1999 Ford Expedition
WHEN I GIVE IT GAS IT HAS A THUMPING GRINDING KIND OF SOUND UNDERNEATH BUT WHEN I LET OFF IT USUALLY WILL QUIT. ALSO AS LONG AS I HOLD A STEADY SPEED IT DOES'NT DO IT BUT IF I COME TO A HILL AND GIVE IT GAS IT STARTS TO DO IT AND IT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING IS HOLDING YOU BACK
Sounds like you need new rotors or breaks on your car, have they been inspected or changed in the last service? Probably worn down to the point your breaks are grabbing.
Also could be the automatic transmission giving out, due to worn bands and cylineders.
Could invest 100$ in a tranny flush with synthetic oils, exp if miles are high, 100,000 +
