2003 Honda Odyssey Passenger Sliding Door Lock

Jdel, I desperately need your help! No cash flow available and dealer keeps rippin me off for different problems on my van. Passenger side sliding door wont unlock with remote or inside car with button. I can manually slide lever open, but when I close door again and lock it with button or remote, door makes weird buzzing noise. I tried resetting with #13 fuse, I tried rubbing eraser on door parts. I seriously made a deal with my van, that my kids and I would wash her up and make her look pretty if she would decide to work... dumb deal breakin van :( Please help! Liz

The buzzing comes from the driver's side door. The lock and unlock works, but the noise occurs with the remote or when putting vehicle in Park

I'm needing to reset my sliding doors; however, once I disconnect the fuses and battery terminal, I cannot manually open the sliding doors. Any suggestions.

I've tried to fix the problem by resetting the fuse; however, I cannot manually open either of the sliding doors. Any suggestions on how to get the doors to open and close manually?

The lock on the power sliding door (driver's side)

You should be able to manually unlock the door and open it,even without the power lock working. The center roller on these vans is prone to wear, causing binding and misalignment of the electrical connectors that you see when the door is open. This may cause the locks to be disabled and the door to not open with the power button. There are three rollers on each door, but many times only the center one is worn out.The installation & alignment of the rollers is critical on this vehicle,so you should consider the dealer for this repair. good luck

You might try rehoming the door. Erase the sliding door DTC's by removing the No. 7 fuse in the under-dash fuse box and reinstall it. Then turn off the Main switch for the doors and make sure the ignition switch is in LOCK (0). Fully close the sliding door manually. Turn the ignition to ON (II) and then turn on the Main switch. Test the door operation several times. note: If you have an 99-04 Odyssey let me know the procedure is different.

I hit passenger sliding door on garage door while

the door is out of adjustment. you could also have something bent. those are very heavy doors and I would recommend to take it to a honda dealer only for repairs. I helped a gentleman in your exact same situation and it took a 20 year tech all day to get it right.

Honda Odyssey doors

I read about this issue while I was looking for a fix to mine. Try the following:

Remove fuse #13 for 30 seconds or more from the passenger side fusebox. This will reset the door and the clock.

OR

1.) Disable the power door switch on the left dashboard.
2.) Remove the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.
3.) Manually open and close both sliding doors.
4.) Restore the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.
5.) Enable the power door switch on the left dashboard.
6.) Try opening the sliding doors.
